Responsibilities

Provide support for Pega applications
Serve as a Senior Application Developer for the LTC Claims Operations technology team by designing, developing, and supporting scalable workflow applications
Develop software using PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for Business Process Management and Business Process Rules initiatives
Create innovative solutions to address design, architectural, and technical challenges
Partner with the Lead System Architect to determine solution design and produce required technical documentation
Perform ongoing refactoring, apply visualization techniques, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Build and maintain strong peer relationships across cross‑functional technology teams and application users
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers, and business users to prioritize development within resource constraints
Evaluate and adapt emerging technologies and toolsets as appropriate
Perform peer code reviews and ensure strong adherence to Pega guardrails

Required

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
5 - 7+ years of Pega application development experience
4+ years developing BPM applications using Pega PRPC Platform 8 & 24/25
Strong enforcement of Pega best practices for design and architecture
Experience with Agile (Scrum)
Experience with SQL Server or Oracle
Experience in large‑scale enterprise environments
Experience with Pega Constellation
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred

Experience with .NET or Java preferred
Experience leading development teams
