InternMarvin Composites is an industry leader in producing composite materials, and they are seeking a Process Engineer Intern to join their Extrusion team in Fargo, ND. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with various teams in new product development, evaluate manufacturing processes, and provide operational support while gaining valuable real-world experience.
Building Materials
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Quality, and Tool and Die teams to aid in new product development, including trials and quality testing
Assist in evaluating manufacturing processes, eliminating gaps, and developing SOPs for production
Provide operational and technical support for production lines
Recommend processing changes to improve production performance
Contribute to the development of process documentation, evaluation, and flow mapping, including statistical process capability analysis
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Creo Parametric
Understanding of geometrical and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T) and ability to read prints
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Junior or Senior status working toward a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
