Merchant Partnerships Manager – Auto Repair & Collision (Texas)
Whillet is a FinTech company specializing in automotive repair payments, and they are seeking a Merchant Partnerships Manager to develop long-term relationships with auto repair and collision shops across Texas. The role involves onboarding and training partners to ensure successful adoption of their Repair-Now-Pay-Later solution during a pilot phase.

Responsibilities
Build and manage relationships with auto repair and collision shop partners across Texas
Onboard and activate ~50 partner locations during the pilot phase
Present the solution to shop owners, service directors, and MSO leadership
Train service advisors and front-desk teams on offering financing during the service write-up
Support partners through onboarding, launch, and early usage
Monitor partner performance: activation, usage, approval rates, and transaction volume
Act as the main point of contact between merchants, underwriting, and product teams
Gather partner feedback and share insights to improve product and onboarding processes
Drive long-term adoption through follow-ups, best practices, and ongoing support
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working with auto repair or collision shops, such as: OEM district or field roles, Service Director or Service Manager positions, Parts & service or supplier sales into shops
Experience managing multiple shop relationships within a territory
Strong communication skills with shop owners, service managers, and service advisors
Solid understanding of service operations, parts & labor sales, and repair workflows
Ability to explain financial or operational concepts clearly to non-financial teams
Relationship-driven mindset with a practical, hands-on approach
