The Intralogistics Automation Engineer will lead commissioning, integration, and optimization of automated material‑handling systems within a highly dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end testing, commissioning, and debugging of PLC‑driven warehouse automation integrated with SAP EWM or other WMS platforms
Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, preferably Siemens S7‑1500, supporting conveyors, sortation, robotics, and AS/RS equipment
Integrate and optimize Warehouse Control Systems such as Dematic iQ, Honeywell Momentum, Swisslog SynQ, or custom WCS platforms
Coordinate IT/OT integration including Active Directory connectivity, secure networking, and adherence to automation cybersecurity best practices
Serve as a technical expert on how WMS, WCS, and physical automation layers interface to ensure real‑time routing and efficient material flow
Qualification
Required
Hands‑on experience commissioning and debugging PLC‑driven automation integrated with SAP EWM or comparable WMS platforms
Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with strong preference for Siemens S7‑1500 environments
Working knowledge of commercial or custom WCS systems and their interaction with WMS and OT equipment
Experience integrating automation systems with enterprise IT infrastructure including Active Directory and secure network architectures
Strong understanding of WMS/WCS/PLC interactions, routing logic, and real‑time controls within automated warehouse environments
