Inventory Business Analyst
Kem Krest is looking for a detail‑driven, analytical professional to join our team as an Inventory Business Analyst. This role plays a critical part in protecting margin and strengthening customer partnerships by proactively managing expired, slow‑moving, and zero‑turn inventory across more than 70 customer programs. The Inventory Business Analyst reviews and analyzes inventory data, collaborates with supply chain and sales teams, and prepares summary reports for management, focusing on optimizing inventory processes and supporting financial recovery efforts.

Responsibilities
Conduct bi‑annual, full product reviews focused on expired inventory
Extract inventory data from PowerBI into standardized Excel templates
Sort, filter, and categorize data by turns, expiration status, new launches, and program type
Partner with Supply Chain to assess recertification opportunities or determine root causes of expiration
Interpret contractual terms to identify customer claim eligibility
Assemble required documentation and collaborate with Sales to validate and finalize claims
Coordinate physical and system scrap‑out for expired inventory
Prepare comprehensive review summaries for Supply Chain and Finance teams
Follow up on claim collections in partnership with Sales and Accounts Receivable
Perform annual, full product reviews targeting zero‑turn and slow‑moving inventory
Download and analyze program‑specific inventory using PowerBI and Excel
Categorize data by turns, finished goods, components, launches, and responsibility
Collaborate with Supply Chain to determine usage challenges and accountability
Apply contract terms to evaluate customer claim opportunities
Compile supporting documentation and review details with Sales
Manage inventory disposal and system reconciliation
Deliver final review summaries to Finance and Supply Chain
Track and support recovery through invoicing and follow‑through with AR
Build and manage a structured review cadence across 70+ chemical and non‑chemical customer programs
Maintain executive‑level summary reporting, sharing trends, risks, and recoveries with senior leadership
Track customer payments and recoveries in partnership with Accounts Receivable
Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations related to customer programs
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, inventory management, or supply chain
Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with PowerBI and D365
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management preferred (accounting degree not required)
