Creative Design Specialist

Silfab Solar is a North American leader in the design and manufacture of high-efficiency solar cells and modules. The Creative Design Specialist is responsible for creating visually compelling materials that enhance the Silfab brand across various platforms, supporting campaign planning, and ensuring cohesive marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

Design high-impact creative assets for web, digital signage, social media, presentations, trade shows, and print collateral
Partner with the marketing team to support campaign planning and rollout, ensuring cross-channel alignment and strong visual storytelling
Support trade show and on-site event execution as needed, including booth setup support, branded environment checks, design development, asset coordination, and coordination with internal teams and vendors
Provide input on creative direction, messaging clarity, and ways to elevate campaign performance through stronger visual storytelling
Support the marketing team with light copywriting as needed, including short-form messaging for social posts, email copy, web content updates, event messaging, and internal communications
Support vendor coordination and production prep, including print specifications, file setup, revisions, and final delivery
Maintain brand integrity across all deliverables through consistent typography, layout standards, and attention to detail
Build and maintain organized asset libraries, templates, and design systems to improve efficiency and consistency
Develop and refine sales enablement materials (one-pagers, product sheets, pitch decks, partner toolkits), translating technical information into clear, customer-ready visuals
Ability to occasionally travel and attend trade shows/events as required

Required

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop; After Effects / Premiere Pro is a strong asset)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. is a strong asset)
Strong understanding of layout, typography, composition, and brand consistency, with the ability to apply brand guidelines across all creative assets
Experience preparing print-ready files (bleeds, specs, sizing, vendor output requirements)
Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into high-impact assets aligned with campaign goals
Strong understanding of B2B marketing design and developing professional partner-facing materials
Ability to translate technical or product-based information into clear, engaging visuals
Experience designing for trade shows and events (booth graphics, signage systems, large-format assets, event collateral)
Ability to manage multiple creative requests while balancing quality, accuracy, and deadlines
Strong written communication skills, including light copywriting/editing for headlines, captions, short-form email/web copy
Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize requests, manage revisions, and deliver efficiently
Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to take direction, incorporate constructive feedback, and iterate quickly in a cross-functional team environment
Strong file management discipline (naming conventions, version control, asset libraries)
Detail-oriented, quality-driven, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to continuous improvement, staying current on design trends, emerging tools, and digital media best practices
Professional and reliable, with a positive, can-do attitude
Collaborative team player who communicates clearly and works effectively across departments

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years of related experience in graphic design, with the ability to conceptualize and execute creative solutions
Minimum 3 years of experience creating and executing projects from conception to completion
Must be able to provide a portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including examples of brand, marketing, and production-ready assets
