Business Operations & Procurement Intern

TalentSphere Global is seeking a Business Operations & Procurement Intern to join their team. In this role, you will gain exposure to various aspects of the Procurement/Sourcing process and develop an understanding of the Purchase to Pay Process and Category Management.

Responsibilities

You’ll be exposed to multiple aspects of the Procurement/Sourcing process at Progressive
You’ll develop an understanding of Progressive’s Purchase to Pay Process and Category/Commodity Management
Some aspects of Category Management will include networking with various business stakeholders and fellow sourcing professionals, creating and analyzing data, and sharing what you learned with team members and leaders

Required

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Financial, Marketing, Economics, Advertising, Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems or any field of study in which you'll meet the minimum requirements for a full-time role within 12 months of successful completion of this internship
Listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a detailed-oriented and organized environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Ability to be adaptable and have intellectual curiosity
