Responsibilities

Support Dir Terminal Development in managing and coordinating all planning, permitting, designing, estimating, procuring, and construction of TRANSFLO facility assets with internal and external contractors/resources (including, but not limited to: civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and architectural)
Manage contractors, vendors and suppliers, and design-build teams. Interface with local municipalities regarding permitting, inspections, and utilities. Provide guidance for design and construction details and issues
Coordinate with internal and/or external legal counsel regarding contracts with engineering consultants and other contractors as necessary
Partner with leader in preparing plans and specifications for new terminals, existing terminal expansion(s), and maintenance/improvement projects (i.e., building renovations, scale, steam boiler, air compressor installations, electrical and lighting improvements/enhancements, pavement improvement/replacements, track rehabilitation and construction, etc.)
Support facility preventative maintenance programs, provide technical support & troubleshooting with terminals and management of facility and terminal assets
Provide terminal operators training on asset management procedures as outlined in the TRANSFLO operating standard and support facility vendors with training terminals on new equipment operation and maintenance procedures
Coordinate with Terminal Managers and Regional Operations personnel in the development of the terminal requirements and operational needs (capital and maintenance projects)
Manage project expenses and budgets within approved amounts
Ensure timely implementation of projects within contracted schedules (internal and external)
Promote TRANSFLOs' safety policy and ensure vendor, employee, and contractor compliance
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Required

Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
3 or more years of supervisory experience in Engineering, Building, or Site Construction/Project Management

5 or more years of supervisory experience in Engineering, Building, or Site Construction/Project Management
Professional Engineer (PE)
