Responsibilities
Supporting the team to: (a) continue its implementation of privacy law requirements with a particular emphasis on comprehensive privacy regulations at the federal and state levels in the United States; (b) monitor and report on legislative action related to privacy laws; (c) prepare research memoranda on interpretations of emerging and existing privacy laws as well as other pertinent privacy topics affecting the pharmaceutical industry; (d) help create additional efficiencies and methodologies for our agile privacy management program; and (e) experience real world application of privacy law into compliance operations
Additional responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the US Privacy Office and status of existing projects
Qualification
Required
Must be a current student enrolled or recently graduated (graduation date no earlier than April 2026) at/from an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor's degree
Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Preferred
A completed or in progress undergraduate degree in Data Ethics, Privacy, Compliance, AI or a related discipline preferred
Class of a junior or senior preferred
