Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager (PM) / Assistant Project Manager (APM), Supervisor in maintaining the highest standard and quality throughout the facility
Act as a working crew leader, responsible for cleaning duties in an assigned area
Assist in the monitoring, training, and motivation of employees
Inspect all assigned restrooms for cleanliness and a complete quality control check list daily to ensure a 90% standard is consistently maintained
Inspect all projects and follow-up when projects are completed. Make sure all employees are following established processes and procedures to ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction
Ensure all employees are clocked in at the correct time in compliance with the record time keeping policies and procedures, and at their stations working; make sure that all areas are covered
Encourage, guide, and mentor all employees’ personal and professional development. Assign tasks and work schedules to employees as needed
Perform and/or assist employees in performing required duties
Document complaints by completing a corrective action report as prescribed by PCSI’s Corrective Action Process
Assist in providing continual on-the-job training and schedule employee training as required on new processes and procedures
Support with monthly Safety Training, ensure employees are following safety rules and regulations
Follow all facility safety policies and procedures and comply with City, State, and Federal agency requirements, and ensure employee compliance

Required

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working as a supervisor in janitorial services, preferred, or related experience
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening
Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors
Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC functions
Ability to communicate with others, both orally and in writing
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and speed in work performed
Ability to report any employee's issues to the APM or PM for disciplinary action as needed
Ability to delegate tasks to staff and ensure assigned tasks are completed
Ability to train employees on duties assigned
Ability to perform a variety of routine, unskilled and semi-skilled janitorial work to support subordinates

Preferred

Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working as a supervisor in janitorial services, preferred, or related experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
