Process Documentation Specialist
Collins Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Process Documentation Specialist to support their operations. The role involves capturing and documenting essential Purchase Order process steps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing training materials to ensure process compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain comprehensive written process documentation for PO procedures
Conduct stakeholder interviews, research, and requirements gathering to ensure documentation is accurate and actionable
Develop training materials (presentations, guides, reference sheets) tailored to diverse audiences
Facilitate group training sessions and collect feedback for ongoing improvement
Recommend, implement, and optimize use of workflow efficiency tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel, Asana)
Communicate status updates, training progress, and improvement recommendations to management
Investigate and propose solutions for process inefficiencies and address documentation discrepancies
Provide guidance and answer technical/non-technical questions about PO process and associated tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Communications, or related field (required)
3-5 years relevant experience in process documentation, operations, training, or continuous improvement roles
Ability to clearly document and map operational processes and standard operating procedures
Experience creating and delivering training sessions
Familiarity with workflow and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms) to drive process improvement and efficiency
Gathering insights by interviewing stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; preferred hands-on experience with Smartsheet, Asana, or similar workflow tools
Demonstrated process mapping and SOP writing ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact effectively across functions
Experience facilitating training sessions and developing instructional materials
Strong stakeholder engagement and interviewing skills
Analytical mindset: able to solve problems, propose, and implement improvement strategies
Detail-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision
Preferred
Experience in project/program management, or team training (a plus)
