Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of new-hire training related to electronic documentation
Work with all departments to identify continuing education needs
Manage ongoing requirements of the EHR application
Ensure effective end-user support
Be responsible for master clinical applications and optimizing the applications for specific workflows
Work directly with other training staff, Nurse Educator, Lead Dental Assistant, Lead LPN, Lead PSR, Dental Clinic Coordinator, and PH/QI Director
Adapt to change as needed
Possess and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and skill in areas of healthcare applications, technology and/or evidence by experience in providing classroom and/or on-site training in health information systems
Qualification
Required
Possess high school diploma or equivalent
Possess licensed practical nurse license or medical assisting
At least 3 years of direct experience with an Electronic Health Record platform
