Responsibilities
Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, gathering details, and escalating to site contacts and/or public services as directed
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues such as unsecured doors, abnormal conditions, and policy violations
Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, assisting with visitor sign-in and/or badging procedures, and directing traffic and deliveries according to site requirements
Complete timely, accurate documentation including daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift turnover communications, and use radio and/or phone systems to coordinate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
