Quectel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Smart SoC Product Manager to join their team. The role involves promoting and managing the smart SoC product line throughout its lifecycle, collaborating with sales teams and cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and deliver technical proposals.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales teams and distributors to promote smart SoC products and drive sales growth
Engage with HQ and cross-functional teams to evaluate customer project requirements and deliver technical proposals to win design-in opportunities
Manage the full product lifecycle: from evaluation, project initialization, development, NPI (New Product Introduction), mass production (MP), to end-of-life (EOL) planning
Deliver product training to local sales teams and distributor partners
Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to identify trends, collect customer insights, and define new product requirements
Monitor performance and cost competitiveness of current products; provide inputs for internal roadmap and strategy planning
Support major customer accounts and strategic projects in collaboration with sales and technical teams
Build and maintain relationships with ecosystem and ODM partners

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
3–5 years of experience in hardware/software development; 3+ years of product/project management experience preferred
Strong understanding of SoC platforms, such as Qualcomm, MediaTek, NXP, Nvidia, Rockchip, TI, Broadcom, etc
Experience with SoC-based devices, such as smartphones, tablets, SBCs, and IoT communication products
Familiarity with Android, Linux, or Ubuntu operating systems
Strong analytical skills and ability to define product requirements and market strategies
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada as needed
