Responsibilities
Oversees maintenance, schedules and inspects work performed by maintenance crews, and other park and City related properties
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required; supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years previous experience in the oversight of work crews, and grounds and landscape maintenance techniques
Florida Class B CDL required
MOT Certification required
CPR and First-Aid certifications required and must be obtained, and maintained, within six (6) months of appointment to position
Principles and practices of equipment maintenance, repair and installation
Correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary
Basic budgetary principles and practices
Administration of staff and activities, either directly or through subordinate supervision
Computer applications related to the work. (GIS mapping, blueprints for infrastructure improvements
Roadway and grounds maintenance
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
Preferred
Any combination of education, training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job
Class A Commercial Driver's license preferred
Specialized Certification as needed and preferred
