Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day production activities and utilities systems (steam, water, compressed air, etc.) to maintain operational excellence
Drive process optimization initiatives to improve yield, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and utility-related issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, equipment upgrades, and technology implementation
Develop and maintain documentation for SOPs, maintenance plans, and performance metrics
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to operations staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
7+ years of experience in specialty chemical or related process industries
Strong knowledge of chemical process operations, utilities systems, and energy management
Proven track record in process optimization and project execution
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
