Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with company policies
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare and review financial statements and reports
Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements
Lead and mentor the accounting team to enhance performance
Coordinate with external auditors during audits
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
Support budgeting and financial planning activities
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory standards
Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar tools
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare detailed reports
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred
Experience with SOX compliance is highly desirable
CPA certification is a plus
