Small Business Environmental Assistance Intern - AEMS-2026-1i
The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is focused on reducing air pollution and climate-related emissions while supporting clean energy and sustainability initiatives. The Small Business Environmental Assistance Intern will work with program staff to develop video tutorials to assist businesses in reporting greenhouse gas emissions and navigating permit requirements.

Develop video tutorials to help businesses through the process of reporting greenhouse gas emissions and other general permit requirements to the NJDEP
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational abilities
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
Possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Preferred
Individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college studying one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, Sustainability, Communications, Public Policy, or Physical Geography
