Own setups on Mazak and Doosan mills/lathes for short-run and prototype jobs
Touch off tools, set offsets, run first articles, and verify against the blueprint
Apply GD&T in inspection and decision-making
Collaborate closely with machinists and programmers to optimize cycles and quality
Champion better methods and smarter tooling choices
Qualification
Required
Comfort with setup sheets, indicators, micrometers, and inspection workflows
Experience with tight-tolerance, complex setups
The judgment to know when a part meets spec the moment it hits the bench
Respectful, solution-focused communication—no drama
Own setups on Mazak and Doosan mills/lathes for short-run and prototype jobs
Touch off tools, set offsets, run first articles, and verify against the blueprint
Apply GD&T in inspection and decision-making
Collaborate closely with machinists and programmers to optimize cycles and quality
Champion better methods and smarter tooling choices
GD&T, Blueprint Reading, G-Code, CNC Tooling
CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC), CNC Lathe (2–4 axis), HMC (3–4 axis)
Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators; plus Forklifts for material moves
