Production Supervisor
1-800-Flowers.com is a leading floral and gift retailer, and they are seeking a Production Supervisor to support daily store operations. This role involves leading floral production, overseeing quality and inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service while acting as a keyholder and Manager-on-Duty when store leadership is absent.

Responsibilities
Lead daily floral production to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time order fulfillment
Serve as a keyholder, including opening and closing the store and securing store assets
Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of store leadership
Perform floral design and support production workflows as needed
Oversee product quality, waste reduction, and production efficiency
Assist with floral, plant, fresh, and hard goods ordering and inventory management
Support delivery routing coordination to ensure timely customer deliveries
Execute merchandising standards, including floor sets, pricing, signage, and promotions
Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales, including add-on sales and B2B opportunities
Process transactions using POS and backend order systems; follow proper cash handling procedures
Train, coach, and support store associates
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies
Qualification
Required
Retail experience required; floral design experience strongly preferred
Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Flexible availability, including weekends as business needs require
Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours)
Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
May work in cooler/freezer environments
Preferred
Prior leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience preferred
