Start in 2026RTX is a leading company in defense and aerospace, and they are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to support their classified computing environment in Tucson, AZ. The intern will work closely with the Information Systems Security Manager to ensure compliance with security policies while gaining hands-on experience in cybersecurity and information systems security.

Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring system compliance and auditing within a classified environment
Support the development of security plans and assist in delivering security awareness and education programs
Help investigate information system security violations and contribute to creating reports for corrective actions
Collaborate with the facility security team, program personnel, and government representatives
Participate in security sustainment activities including hardware/software change management and account management
Participate in organization project during internship
Qualification
Required
Must be at least a sophomore by the start of summer 2026 pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science or Math
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
3.0 cumulative GPA desired
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)
