Responsibilities
Defend civil litigation matters involving:
Negligence theories, premises liability
Employment-related claims (including bullying and sexual assault matters)
Insurance coverage issues
First- and third-party liability disputes
Draft and review litigation documents, including:
Motions, pleadings, discovery, legal analysis reports, and appellate filings
Conduct and/or assist with:
Depositions, witness interviews, case investigations
Appear and advocate in:
New Jersey state and federal courts
Administrative forums such as DCR, EEOC, and other agencies (conferences, hearings, oral argument)
Qualification
Required
Active New Jersey Bar license
2-7 years of civil litigation experience
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and insurance representatives
Strong legal research and writing skills
Proficiency with litigation technology, legal research tools, and web-based data sources

Judicial clerkship following law school
