Court Case Manager 2 (41-9024) Anchorage Appellate
NEOGOV is seeking a Court Case Manager 2 for the Alaska Court System, responsible for managing appellate cases from initiation through disposition. The role includes evaluating motions, maintaining files, providing procedural guidance, and coordinating courtroom activities.

Responsibilities
Manages appellate cases from opening through disposition by initiating and tracking new appeals, preparing and issuing notices, maintaining paper and electronic files, and setting deadlines and follow-up tasks
Evaluates and processes motions, determining appropriate routing and resolution, drafting routine decisions, and preparing assignment memoranda for individual justice/judge and full-court matters
Processes trial court records and transcripts, calculating briefing schedules, handling petitions and applications, drafting and distributing related orders, and ensuring accurate data entry and workflow tracking
Provides procedural guidance to attorneys, court staff, and the public
Manages filing and records access
Supports oral arguments by coordinating parties, preparing the courtroom, and serving as in-court clerk
Reviews and distributes opinions under strict confidentiality
Performs front counter and cash-handling duties
Assists with training new case managers
Carries out other assigned responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to a Court Case Manager 1 with the Alaska Court System or an equivalent position with another employer
Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND completion of a two-year paralegal curriculum from an accredited institution
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college
Post-secondary transcripts, if using education to meet minimum qualifications
Copies of your most recent (2) performance evaluations, if available
A list of three (3) professional references who have had supervisory authority over you along with their daytime contact phone numbers and email addresses
