They are seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst to perform complex general accounting activities, including the preparation of internal and audited financial statements, regulatory reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities
Performs ad-hoc analysis and research as identified by Financial Reporting management
Independently prepares complex portions of the corporate forecast, audited financial statements, regulatory reporting and/or audit schedules
Reviews certain account reconciliations prepared by staff accountants
Prepares monthly general ledger journal entries that impact assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts
Reconciles complex general ledger accounts ensuring the accuracy of reported balances. Researches any reconciling items and take necessary action to correct these items
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree with Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Major
3 years of experience as a professional accountant including experience with monthly financial statement reporting, close processes and exposure to accounting research
Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and ability to apply the appropriate accounting standards to the relevant job duties
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Access
Experience with an automated general ledger application such as Oracle Financials
Preferred
Statutory accounting experience
Big 4 accounting firm experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
Statutory accounting knowledge
