Responsibilities
Oversee the full project lifecycle on multiple large-scale or complex projects
Develop and manage project schedules, execution plans, and resource strategies in collaboration with internal and field teams
Provide direct leadership, oversight, and mentorship to project management staff
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Establish and manage project budgets, forecasting, and change management processes
Review subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure scope alignment and cost efficiency
Identify financial risks and implement proactive measures to protect project margins
Serve as the primary client contact for high-priority projects
Lead project meetings, executive updates, and coordination efforts with internal and external stakeholders
Address issues promptly and professionally to maintain client trust and satisfaction
Guide and mentor junior project management team members to support professional growth
Define project team roles and responsibilities to ensure effective collaboration
Support onboarding and training initiatives for new project management staff
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, labor, and scope
Lead resolution efforts for complex construction and coordination challenges
Incorporate contingency planning and value engineering into early project strategies
Uphold high standards for construction quality, workmanship, and compliance
Support field teams in enforcing safety policies and addressing potential hazards
Perform site visits to ensure execution aligns with project plans and organizational objectives
Contribute to improving project management processes and field operations
Collaborate with senior leadership on continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and enhance future performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience
8+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Plexxis, OnCenter) and Microsoft Office
Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams simultaneously
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards
Preferred
Drywall and metal framing experience
