Manager - Mechanisms, Lunar Permanence
Blue Origin is working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. The role involves managing a team of mechanisms design engineers within the MK2 Lunar Lander Program, focusing on the design, analysis, test, and delivery of spacecraft mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
Mentor and coach design engineers in mechanical design and analysis, including CAD, drawings, structural analysis, systems engineering, and test
Technical ownership of design and delivery of mechanism products
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
5+ years designing spaceflight mechanisms hardware
Experience with CAD/PLM (Creo/Windchill preferred)
Experience with spaceflight hardware release
Experience with hardware test, requirements verification and validation
Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers
Preferred
End-to-end hardware development experience for spaceflight/launch vehicle hardware (preliminary design through flight support)
Experience in production environment (non-conformance management, build support, test support)
