Responsibilities
Provide on site leadership in the Novi, MI office, supporting daily operational needs
Oversee work assignments and development of a team of local site engineers
Deliver high quality customer support including system troubleshooting, field services, system startups, upgrades, and small project execution
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote satisfaction and long term business growth
Develop training and growth plans to ensure team members are technically and professionally prepared to meet customer needs
Collaborate closely with the Manager of Detroit Water Projects to forecast and staff site support aligned with project schedules
Support estimating efforts and resource planning for future customer support needs
Lead effective solutions to customer challenges that strengthen Emerson’s position within the water and wastewater treatment industry
Partner with customers to collaboratively resolve technical, contractual, and warranty matters while balancing business goals and service excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent
A minimum of 8 years' experience in field service, project management or similar
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, domestically
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Demonstrated experience in project management and people leadership
Control systems experience, Ovation strongly preferred
Previous experience in systems integration
Experience in the Water/Wastewater Treatment Industry
PE, PMP, or related professional certifications
