Responsibilities

Ensure every loan starts right by validating accuracy, completeness, and compliance before funding, which protects members, reduces errors, and supports a smooth lending experience
Safeguard the credit union’s collateral position by managing titles, filing lien documentation, resolving discrepancies, and keeping records precise and audit‑ready
Keep loan operations moving by partnering with other departments to resolve issues quickly, reduce delays, and improve the turnaround times members depend on
Improve the overall member journey by providing knowledgeable, timely support to both front‑line staff and members, ensuring questions are answered and problems are resolved with care
Strengthen our internal controls by catching exceptions early, documenting them clearly, and communicating with management to prevent recurring issues

Qualification

Consumer lending experienceLoan processing knowledgeAttention to detailCommunicationProactive mindsetOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

1+ year of experience in consumer lending, loan processing, servicing, or similar financial‑institution support functions
Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit documentation, validate signatures, and verify calculations accurately
Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and meeting deadlines
Excellent communication skills when working with members, staff, indirect partners, and internal departments
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn, adapt, and look for opportunities to improve processes and member experience
