They are seeking an Inspection Coordinator to provide coordination support to inspection staff, perform quality assurance reviews, and develop inspection protocols based on specification requirements.

Responsibilities
Provide coordination support to inspection staff
Have the ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards
Perform quality assurance review of inspection reports and project documentation, and sign off
Develop inspection and testing protocols/processes, as based on specification requirements
Perform technical reviews and consultation to client as required
Qualification
Required
A BS/BE degree from an accredited college/university in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
10 years of demonstrated experience in engineering, inspections, and audits. Railroad engineering/inspection experience is a plus
NY or NJ PE registration desired
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as there will be day-to-day interactions directly with the client and other client contractors
Excellent computer skills and fluent in the utilization of MS Office
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred
Master's Degree in Engineering
40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred
Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired
