As a Capital Markets Credit Risk Analyst Intern, you'll develop risk frameworks and tools to assist the Capital Markets team in making informed decisions regarding mortgage servicing assets.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing driver-based credit risk analytics that provide a framework for credit risk decision making
Learn to analyze and summarize mortgage performance data under guidance from experienced analysts
Help identify trends and concerns, and participate in formulating recommended actions
Support cross-functional collaboration with various business units on strategic and credit risk initiatives
Contribute to Credit Risk Model development alongside Data Science teams for use in asset pricing
Gain experience researching and working with large third-party data sets to build market-based comparative risk analytics
Receive mentorship and training in risk management principles and financial services industry standards
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, math, computer science, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information
Basic understanding of financial concepts and risk management principles
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (V-lookup/Pivot Tables)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Previous coursework in risk management, statistics, or financial analysis
Knowledge of SQL
Interest in mortgage or financial services industry
Experience with data visualization tools
