Perform a wide variety of Pharmacy duties to meet the needs for patients in the hospital
Filling routine drug orders for unit dose medications
Refilling medications in Pharmacy Automated Dispensing Cabinets
Performing Non-Sterile and Sterile Compounding
Repackaging of medication into unit dose barcoded packages
Replenishes code carts drug supply
Performs inventory duties for the Central Pharmacy operation
Qualification
Required
High school level of education
Minimum of 3 months work experience as Pharmacy Technician
RPT or RPI - Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Intern
CPhT or ExCPT- Certified Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Intern - Board of Registration in Pharmacy (Massachusetts)
Preferred
Hospital pharmacy experience desirable
