This role involves engineering design, calculations, and coordination with various teams to ensure projects meet code requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
Design and engineer PEMB systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards
Prepare structural calculations, design packages, and engineering documentation
Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, and erection teams
Provide engineering support during fabrication and field erection
Review and respond to RFIs and design-related issues
Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards
Support project teams from design through construction
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Experience in structural engineering, preferably with PEMB systems
Strong understanding of steel design, loads, and building codes
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience working with a PEMB fabricator or erector
Familiarity with MBMA standards and PEMB design software
Experience supporting fabrication and erection operations
