Responsibilities
Prepares 3D models and drawings using CAD workstations and appropriate design criteria and assists in creation and maintenance of technical manuals and according to established standards, policies and procedures
Writes and coordinates implementation of Engineering Changes in response to requests (EWR’s)
Assist in maintenance and creation of technical manuals
Works closely with engineers and design teams on new designs and continuous improvements to existing designs
Produce models and drawings with Creo and Solid Works (a plus)
Possess knowledge of all steps required to set up parts and assemblies in a production ERP system
Understand part tolerances based on manufacturing processes and real world fit up of assemblies
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7-10 years' experience with CAD and ERP software
Knowledge of advanced design concepts, practices and procedures
Ability to read and prepare drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a virtual team with remote resources
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Experience with rapid prototyping techniques a plus
Electrical layout and drawing a plus
Background in beverage equipment systems or other appliances, including design, manufacturing, and integration is preferred
Oracle experience is a plus
