Responsibilities
Originate and close residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, and Conventional) in accordance with established guidelines
Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, buyers, sellers, and other referral sources
Develop and execute a personal marketing strategy to grow business and expand your referral network
Meet monthly production goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience
Consult with customers to understand financial needs and explain loan options and structures
Work with Secondary Marketing to ensure proper rate locks
Provide feedback on product offerings and pricing based on market demand
Travel regularly to meet referral partners and customers (approximately 30–40% of time outside the office)
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, positive sales environment
Qualification
Required
Mortgage lending sales experience with strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Proven track record of developing and maintaining referral-based business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and mortgage banking software
Valid driver's license required
