Senior Desktop/Tech Support
Horizontal Talent is seeking a dedicated Senior Desktop/Tech Support professional to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential support in a dynamic environment, ensuring staff and sales associates have the technology resources they need to excel.
Responsibilities
Provide daily technical support for desktop and laptop computers, as well as mobile devices
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution for end-users
Configure workstations for new users and upgrade existing systems as needed
Set up and maintain network and telecommunication systems, addressing connectivity issues promptly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and resolve technical challenges
Utilize ticketing systems for tracking and managing support requests effectively
Participate in local and national projects, contributing to the improvement of technology products and services
Qualification
Required
Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical support role
A minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop and technical support, with a preference for 5 years
Strong customer service skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on user satisfaction
Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems
Basic understanding of network troubleshooting and support
Experience with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Ivanti
Preferred
Experience in a large organizational setting, understanding processes and procedures
Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively organize tasks
High level of emotional intelligence and professional presence
Flexibility and a growth mindset towards learning new technologies
