Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact with NASA Center CFOs, Resource Management Directors, and Headquarters stakeholders
Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships through regular engagement, including in-person meetings with Center and Agency leadership
Represent MDW professionally and credibly in all customer-facing forums
Lead all aspects of NFSS execution across multiple Centers and functional areas
Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of financial management, PPBE, budget execution, reimbursables, and reporting support
Coordinate work across a matrixed, geographically dispersed workforce to ensure continuity and consistency
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete delivery of all NFSS DRDs
Maintain high standards for narrative quality, data integrity, and executive readiness of deliverables
Proactively surface risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to both NASA and MDW leadership
Maintain responsibility for contract cost control, staffing levels, and burn-rate management
Support contract modifications, scope adjustments, and option-year planning
Oversee quality and accuracy of program-level financial reporting
Lead, mentor, and develop Center Leads and functional managers
Ensure appropriate staffing, cross-training, and succession planning to mitigate workforce risk
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Identify opportunities to expand MDW's impact through service enhancements, scope growth, and innovative approaches aligned with NASA priorities
Support MDW leadership in positioning NFSS for long-term success and potential growth opportunities
Contribute to MDW's broader NASA strategy as the company expands its footprint across the Agency
Qualification
Required
10+ years of management experience
Demonstrated experience leading multi-Center or geographically distributed teams
Strong understanding of Federal financial management, PPBE, budget execution, and reimbursable processes
Proven ability to engage effectively with senior government executives
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred
Familiarity with NASA processes, systems and organizational construct
Experience managing contracts exceeding 100 FTEs
PMP or equivalent program management certification
Experience driving process improvement, automation, or data analytics initiatives
