Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day account management support for the client service team, ensuring smooth coordination of client work
Utilize technology and systems to set up, maintain and update benefit websites for clients
Support new and renewal business by collecting information, preparing RFPs and proposals, and assisting with marketing and presentation materials
Maintain and update client accounts, including processing employee changes, new hires, enrollments, renewals, and case setup/service
Ensure accuracy and compliance by reviewing policies, applications, endorsements, premiums, invoicing, SPDs, and performing audits and data quality checks
Manage client, sales, and financial activity, including production reports, revenue tracking, retention metrics, and carrier payment history
Communicate and follow up with clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues related to contracts, underwriting, and account administration
Coordinate meetings and project activities, including scheduling, agendas, timelines, vendor coordination, and travel arrangements when needed
Provide administrative and project support, including file maintenance, invoice processing, research, special projects, and other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma; college degree preferred
Active state specific Life & Health Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire
0-2 years previous work or internship experience in an office environment, preferably in an insurance, employee benefits or provider organization
Invests in the development of insurance benefits knowledge, including changing and emerging industry trends, and applies relevant principles and practices throughout daily responsibilities
Actively fosters relationships by seeking to understand appropriate parties, prioritizing problem solving, and collaborating to deliver unique and impactful solutions
Actively contributes to defined workflows, including related processes, procedures, and deliverables, and utilizing resources to deliver a world class client experience and adhering to compliance requirements
