Payment Program Specialist

Responsibilities

Maintain good records and controls which provide an audit trail for all duties performed
Maintain a high degree of communication, cooperation and coordination with payment programs, facility leaders and internal Accounts Payable staff
Practice and adhere to the 'Code of Conduct' philosophy and 'Mission and Value Statement'
Assist in developing performance reports for management, including coordination with external payment program representatives
Assists with efforts to grow payment programs, including attending routine meetings
Obtain vendor contact information and other pertinent information needed by payment program partners to approach targeted vendors
Identify opportunities for purchasing card utilization and assist with moving facility spend to purchasing card program when appropriate
Work internal and external system error and void reports related to payment programs
Assist with inquiries and requests sent to our payment program mailboxes
Supports the facilities, accounts payable and facility management team in acting as payment subject matter expert for Capturis
Administering onboarding new accounts and new sites to Capturis
Maintain accurate account and site information to ensure integrity of Capturis data
Ensure exceptions and variances flagged in Capturis are worked and corrected timely to ensure there are no service disruptions or late bill payments
Ensure AP exceptions are corrected timely to ensure data integrity of HCA financial records

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
3 year accounting or financial experience required

Preferred

Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration or similar preferred
