Responsibilities
Synthesize Complex Data: Lead the meta-analysis of existing datasets related to collective action and social-ecological systems to identify global patterns in sustainability transformations
Lead and Co-author High-Impact Publications: Develop and submit original research papers to top-tier journals in sustainability science, governance, and environmental policy
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. (in hand by the starting date) in Environmental Science, Economics, Sustainability Studies, Public Policy or a related field with a quantitative focus. Applicants with an interdisciplinary degree are welcome
Demonstrated proficiency in data management, data harmonization, and advanced data analysis techniques
Strong programming skills in ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, R, Python, or similar software
Experience working with large and complex datasets, including geospatial and temporal data
A strong publication record in data-driven sustainability research or closely related fields
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with researchers from a wide range of disciplines
Preferred
Experience with socioeconomic data or other indicators of human wellbeing
