Wekiva Springs Center is part of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the nation's largest providers of hospital and healthcare services. They are seeking a Business Office Director responsible for revenue cycle management, month-end reporting, and various special projects.

Responsibilities
The Business Office Director is responsible for all aspects for revenue cycle management for the facility
This position also essential reports and data utilized for month-end closing
Special projects will also be required of the position
Must Understand revenue cycle management, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and payor principles
Knowledge of Medicare, VA, and Managed care insurance policies and proper billing procedures including denial and appeal guidelines
Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Excel and Word
Prefer experience in MS4 billing software
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals, financial reports and legal documents with a high level of attention to detail
Accuracy is required
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community
Maintains a dialog with all third party payors
Assist in establishing policies and procedures as they relate to the financial goals of the facility
Must implement and monitor business office procedures and address systematic problems quickly
Will review the work quality of department employees in order to facilitate a smooth and efficient work flow
Frequently uses Computer, Copier, Facsimile, Postage meter
This is a fast-paced office environment that may require occasional overtime and flexibility
Required to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
Ability to deal with non-verbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.) in its most difficult phase
Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables
