Responsibilities
Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of ISO 27001/27002 and NIST CSF frameworks
Own enterprise security policies, standards, procedures, and control documentation
Translate governance requirements into actionable technical and operational controls
Conduct risk, gap, and maturity assessments and drive remediation efforts
Support ISO 27001 certification, internal audits, and regulatory assessments
Manage control libraries, control mapping, and audit evidence
Partner with IT, cloud, DevOps, and business teams to embed security-by-design
Establish security metrics, KPIs, and reporting on control effectiveness
Lead third-party and vendor security risk assessments
Provide guidance on AWS/Azure security, identity, data protection, and incident response
Support incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery alignment
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or GRC
Proven, hands-on experience implementing ISO 27001/27002 and leading audit readiness
Strong working knowledge of NIST CSF and control mapping
Experience designing enterprise-scale security architectures
Cloud security experience in AWS and/or Azure
Strong documentation, policy writing, and executive-level communication skills
Ability to work onsite 4 days per week
Preferred
Experience in regulated industries (Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing)
Familiarity with SOC 2, CIS Controls, or GRC platforms (ServiceNow GRC, Archer, OneTrust)
Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor)
