Responsibilities
Own project financials end-to-end: cost, revenue, margin, cash flow, and forecasting
Set up and maintain project financial structures and controls
Track and analyze all project costs (labor, capex, hours, variances, change orders)
Partner closely with Project Managers to guide financial decisions and protect margins
Analyze change orders and quantify their financial impact
Deliver ongoing analysis, recommendations, and risk assessments
Provide clear reporting and updates to senior leadership on project health
Support monthly close, forecasting, audits, and financial reviews
Work heavily in Excel (pivot tables, analysis, tracking tools)
Operate within SAP ECC (with a future move to S/4HANA)
Qualification
Required
Experience in project financial management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and analyze project costs
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, analysis, tracking tools)
Experience operating within SAP ECC
Ability to partner closely with Project Managers
Experience in delivering financial reporting and updates to senior leadership
Ability to support monthly close, forecasting, audits, and financial reviews
