Responsibilities
Review of policies, internal controls, lottery draws, and IT Systems
Examines agency financial records/related documents
State of Iowa - Iowa Advantage (I/3) Pre-Audit work
Performs a financial review of the Lottery games, draft artwork, prize structure, and working papers
Participate in the midday and evening draw rotation. Covers on-call for the evening draw one weekend of the month
Develop promotional prize procedures
Qualification
Required
Five and one-half years of full-time work experience in accounting, auditing, or finance
Eighteen months of full-time work experience in accounting, auditing, or finance; and a total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in accounting or finance equals one year of full-time experience
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting or finance, and experience equal to eighteen months of full-time work in accounting, auditing, or finance
Applicants must live within the State of Iowa to qualify for this position
A background check, including a criminal history check, fingerprint and Iowa tax filing check, will be conducted on the final candidate
