They are seeking an Accountant to manage the entire accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and internal controls while supporting continuous improvement in operational accounting processes.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the account team and play a key role in the entire accounting cycle including, managing AP, AR, month-end close processes, payroll preparation and ad-hoc reporting
Assist in producing timely, accurate monthly financial statements by completing our month-end close activities
Support the internal team completing the annual financial audit, monthly tax compliance and other reporting requirements as needed
Maintain and improve internal controls and financial processes
Assist in managing the annual corporate budget by identifying variances and gaps to management
Help develop management reporting identifying trends within the business such as DSO, cashflow trends and variance review
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally at a SaaS company or working with SaaS companies through prior firm experience
Pursuing CPA designation or already designated
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (ASPE, IFRS & GAAP), specifically revenue recognition accounting flow for SaaS
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, familiarity with NetSuite would be a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrate the ability to take direction and work to deliver accurate results
