Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness
Develop and maintain assembly line layouts, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Partner with design teams to ensure products are optimized for assembly (DFA)
Identify and remove bottlenecks to enhance cycle time and line performance. Evaluate and select tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Investigate and resolve issues related to assembly quality and equipment reliability
Analyze assembly line performance metrics to uncover improvement opportunities
Support new product launches by developing, validating, and refining assembly processes
Train and mentor assembly operators on new tools, technologies, and procedures

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience within assembly environments
Strong understanding of assembly processes, tools, and optimization techniques
Proficiency with CAD or viewer software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, JT, or EASM
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities
Knowledge of quality control standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional partnering skills

Preferred

Experience with automated assembly systems, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies
Familiarity with ERP/MRP and manufacturing software
Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification
Strong background with Design for Assembly (DFA)
Exposure to advanced materials or emerging manufacturing technologies
