Office and Compliance Manager
The Thrasher Group is a full-service architecture, engineering, and field services consulting firm seeking a detail-oriented Office and Compliance Manager to support and manage administrative and compliance operations at their Bridgeport, WV office. The role involves overseeing daily office operations, ensuring compliance with safety metrics, and providing comprehensive administrative support to leadership and staff.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily office operations, including supervising staff, managing schedules, travel coordination, and supporting a well-organized work environment
Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion at all times
Identify areas for process improvement in office operations and compliance practices
Provide comprehensive administrative and office support to leadership and staff, including standard office operations as needed
Safety reporting to client databases
Maintain appropriate safety gear inventory
Support safety and compliance efforts by monitoring and reporting safety metrics, maintaining client and insurance reporting requirements, coordinating safety meetings and ensuring required trainings are completed
Support HR related compliance functions; workers compensation, disability, 401(K), unemployment, etc
Ensure project filing system is up to date and being followed
Coordinate standard office duties: answering phones, shipping, office supplies, special events, etc
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Human Resources or other related field is required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an office manager capacity is required
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, and a problem-solving mindset
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient with office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams
Occasional overtime and traveling to other office locations is required
Preferred
Experience working in a professional consulting firm is desired
Knowledge of payroll and FLSA is not required but would be an asset
