They are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support buying and product development functions, ensuring products meet brand guidelines and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Assist with the development of licensed souvenirs such as drinkware, accessories, apparel, and gift products
Coordinate the approval process with licensors from art submission through sampling
Track all product statuses from concept to final production, ensuring deadlines are met
Coordinate all product testing requirements, labeling compliance, chemical testing, and category-specific regulations
Work directly with suppliers and accredited testing labs to handle reports, re-tests, and compliance updates
Maintain organized digital records of testing results, certificates of compliance, tracking labels, and documentation required by licensors or internal teams
Assist the buying team with SKU setup, cost sheets, product data entry, and purchase order support
Monitor production status updates, delivery schedules, and shipment timelines
Assist with market research and trend tracking to support product decisions
Qualification
Required
Experience in product development, licensing, buying, merchandising, or related field; souvenir or gift industry experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple products and timelines
Familiarity with licensing workflows, brand style guides, and approval processes
Proficiency in Excel and standard business tools; PLM experience is helpful
Clear communication skills, especially when coordinating with licensors and vendors
Preferred
A collaborative team player who enjoys managing details and keeping product timelines on track
Someone with a passion for creative consumer goods—especially licensed souvenirs and tourism retail
A self-motivated coordinator who is comfortable juggling multiple product categories and deadlines
