Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Plan Development & Execution: This core responsibility involves creating comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate the academies' profile and drive ticket sales. Collaborating with cross functional partners to execute across Digital, Brand Education, US Creative and SalonCentric teams
Promotional Activities Across Channels: The Marketing Manager oversees all promotional activities across various channels, SC.com, social media, email marketing, print materials, and potential public relations. This demands versatility and expertise in managing multi-channel campaigns
Promotional Asset Development: Creating a wide range of promotional materials, from flyers and brochures to social content including still, video & paid media, requires strong project management and creative execution skills
Social Media Strategy: Developing and executing a social media strategy for L’Oreal Academy and Redken Exchange as key social platform lead. Building the content strategy, sourcing or creating content and executing plans in platforms to maximize awareness of programs and increase ticket sales. This includes identifying key themes, optimizing posting schedules, tracking performance metrics, content creation, community engagement, and social listening to understand audience preferences
KPI Tracking and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ticket sales& promotions and providing monthly recaps with actionable insights demonstrates accountability and data-driven decision-making

Required

Bachelor's Degree or higher
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the beauty or salon industry
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital education or content strategies
Deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and influencer marketing
Strong understanding of the Beauty Industry
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
Sitting, standing, bending, moving and setting up fixtures & tools, lifting of product boxes
Project management, strong logistical skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Some flexibility in work schedule, nights and weekends depending on Academy schedule & content needed to be gathered
Ability to Travel to the West Coast Academy- Quarterly

Preferred

Cosmetology License preferred but not required
