Responsibilities
Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Performing month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries
Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes
Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth
Supporting external audits and ensuring timely resolution of audit inquiries
Monitoring and interpreting changes in accounting regulations, and implementing necessary adjustments
Assisting in the development and enhancement of financial reporting systems and tools
Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA qualification
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role
Public accounting or combination of public accounting and industry experience
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
