Regional Sales Director - New Jersey Region

Responsibilities
Retain and develop a high performing Rare Disease/Specialty Sales Team with an emphasis on launch excellence
Create a high-performance team driven by common values of trust, respect, and commitment to winning the right way (culture of compliance)
Fosters an entrepreneurial culture with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize individual and Company goals, and establishes open and honest communication with team, peers, and senior leadership
Contributes to the development and implementation of key sales enablers (i.e., sales training, customer targeting and alignment, market development), in collaboration with internal and external partners
Lead Sales team through one product focus to a portfolio selling approach
Maintains exceptional knowledge of disease state, product, customer, orphan/rare drug market, specialty drug market, competitive products, and the broader healthcare marketplace
Collaborate with cross functional Insmed field leaders (Market Access, Patient Services), Medical, Legal, and Compliance) to achieve shared business objectives in a compliant manner
Demonstrates high ethical and performance standards with all business contacts to maintain Insmed’s exceptional reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community
Operation Excellence – Ability to monitor team performance and implement behavioral strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
Foster a culture of coaching by empowering teams to learn, grow, and perform to their fullest potential through high engagement, accountability, and collaboration
Qualification
Required
You have a bachelors degree along with 3+ years experience in front line Pharmaceutical sales/commercial leadership
Experience building high performing teams, with a focus on culture and compliance, and launch excellence
Product portfolio leadership experience required
Successful product launch experience required as a front-line sale leader
Experience in building out (recruit and hire) top performing Therapeutic Specialists
Proven record of success through teamwork and execution
Preferred
Rare disease/pulmonary experience preferred
